Now, they've applied that experience to this set of 8 JE Pistons 4.6 3V MOD STRKR pistons, designed specifically for high-demand performance applications. These pistons are forged in the USA using 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, making them well-suited for demanding engine builds.

This set features JE Pistons' proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design, which helps minimize friction and power loss by using a reduced skirt width. The shorter wrist pin also contributes to saving weight. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to reduce combustion gas pressure, which helps prevent ring flutter and improves ring seal for consistent power delivery. Some applications also feature a skirt coating that further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, while also helping to quiet down engine operation.
