JE Pistons 4.6 3V MOD STRKR 8.5:1 Set of 8 Pistons

Forged in the USA from 2618 aluminum, these JE Pistons are built for high-demand performance applications. This set is specifically designed for the 4.6L 3V modular engine, featuring an 8.5:1 compression ratio and a 3.701-inch bore. The 2618 aluminum alloy provides the high tensile strength needed to withstand the rigors of performance builds, ensuring durability when you push your engine hard.

JE Pistons incorporates their proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design, which helps minimize friction and power loss by using a reduced skirt width. This design also saves weight with a shorter wrist pin. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to reduce combustion gas pressure, leading to better ring seal and consistent power. A skirt coating, if included for your application, further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, contributing to quieter operation and longer life.

This set includes eight pistons, each measuring 3.701 inches in bore diameter, with a 1.200-inch compression distance and a 0.866-inch wrist pin.
