This product is a set of eight JE Pistons 4.6 3V STRKR pistons, designed for high-demand performance applications. Each piston features a 9.5:1 compression ratio and a 3.552-inch bore. They are made from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, which is crucial for engines pushed to their limits. These pistons are forged, machined, and assembled entirely in the USA, reflecting JE Pistons' extensive experience in creating durable engine components.

JE Pistons incorporates several design features to enhance performance and longevity. The proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design helps minimize friction and power loss by using a reduced skirt width and a shorter wrist pin, which also saves weight. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to help manage combustion gas pressure, reducing ring flutter and improving ring seal for more consistent power delivery. Some applications also feature a skirt coating designed to reduce friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, which can also lead to quieter operation.

This set includes eight pistons, each with a 1.200-inch compression distance and an 0.866-inch pin diameter.
