JE Pistons 4.6 3V MOD STRKR 9.5:1 Set of 8 Pistons

This product is a set of eight JE Pistons 4.6 3V MOD STRKR pistons, designed for engines requiring a 9.5:1 compression ratio. These pistons are forged in the USA using 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, making them suitable for high-demand performance applications. They are engineered specifically for the 4.6 3V engine to offer an optimized balance of performance and durability.

JE Pistons incorporates several design features to enhance performance and longevity. The proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design helps minimize friction and power loss by reducing skirt width, and further saves weight with a shorter wrist pin. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to help reduce pressure from combustion gases, which can improve ring flutter and enhance ring seal for more consistent power delivery. Additionally, a skirt coating, also application-dependent, is used to reduce friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, while also contributing to quieter operation.

This set includes pistons with a 3.572-inch bore, a 1.200-inch compression distance, and an 0.866-inch wrist pin. Please note that these pistons are not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California. They are made 100% in the USA.
