JE Pistons 4.6 3V MODULAR 8.5:1 Set of 8 Pistons

If you're building a high-performance 4.6L 3V Modular engine, a solid set of pistons is where you start. These JE Pistons are designed for demanding applications where durability and consistent power are critical. They're forged in the USA from 2618 aluminum, a material known for its high tensile strength, making them well-suited for engines pushed beyond stock limits.

JE Pistons uses a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design that helps reduce friction and power loss by using a narrower skirt and a shorter wrist pin, which also saves weight. Depending on the specific application, these pistons might also include an accumulator groove to help manage combustion gas pressure, leading to better ring seal and more consistent power delivery. Some applications also feature a skirt coating that further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, while also helping to quiet down engine noise. Each set is designed specifically for the 4.6L 3V Modular engine to ensure optimized performance and durability.

This set includes eight pistons, each with a 3.552-inch bore and designed for an 8.5:1 compression ratio. Please note that these pistons are not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California.
