JE Pistons 4.6 4V MOD STRKR 11:1 Set of 8 Pistons

When you're building a high-performance 4.6L 4V engine for serious street or track use, the pistons are a critical component. These JE Pistons STRKR series pistons are designed to handle the demands of a performance build, offering an 11:1 compression ratio for a good balance of power and pump gas compatibility in many setups.

JE Pistons has been making forged pistons for a long time, and these are forged in the USA from 2618 aluminum. This material is chosen because it has the high tensile strength needed for engines that are pushed hard. They feature a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design, which helps reduce friction and skirt wear, and also saves a bit of weight. Depending on the specific application, they might also include an accumulator groove to help maintain a good ring seal and a skirt coating to further cut down on friction and noise.

This set includes eight pistons, all made to precise specifications for the 4.6L 4V engine. They are designed as a direct replacement for the stock pistons, but with the strength and features needed for a performance rebuild.
