JE Pistons 4.6 4V MOD STRKR 11:1 Set of 8 Pistons

This product includes a set of eight JE Pistons, designed for the 4.6 4V MOD STRKR engine with an 11:1 compression ratio. These pistons are forged in the USA using 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, making it well-suited for high-demand performance applications. They feature a flat-top design with a 3.701-inch bore, a 1.200-inch compression distance, and accommodate a 0.866-inch wrist pin.

JE Pistons brings over 75 years of experience to their forged racing pistons. Each piston is engineered and machined in the USA specifically for its intended engine and racing application, aiming for a balance of durability and performance. This set includes pistons with a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design, which helps minimize friction and power loss by reducing skirt width and saving weight with a shorter wrist pin. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also feature an accumulator groove to reduce combustion gas pressure, preventing ring flutter and improving ring seal for consistent power. Additionally, a skirt coating, if included for this application, further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, while also helping to lower operating noise.
