This set of eight 4.6 4V MOD STRKR pistons is forged and machined 100% in the USA, using 2618 aluminum for the high tensile strength needed in performance applications. They are designed specifically for the 4.6 4V engine to give you a solid combination of durability and performance.

These pistons feature JE Pistons' proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design, which helps reduce friction and power loss by using a shorter wrist pin and reduced skirt width, saving weight. Depending on the specific application, they may also include an accumulator groove to help reduce combustion gas pressure, which can prevent ring flutter and improve ring seal for more consistent power. Some applications also benefit from a skirt coating that reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, while also lowering operating noise.

This set is designed for an 8.5:1 compression ratio, with a 3.572-inch bore and a 0.866-inch pin diameter. Please note that these pistons are not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California.
