This set of 8 JE Pistons 4.6 4V MOD STRKR pistons is built for high-demand performance, featuring an 8.5:1 compression ratio and a 3.622-inch bore. They are engineered, forged, and machined 100% in the USA, using 2618 aluminum, which provides the high tensile strength needed for serious engine builds.

These pistons incorporate JE Pistons' proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design. This design helps minimize friction and power loss by reducing skirt width and saving weight with a shorter wrist pin. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also feature an accumulator groove to reduce combustion gas pressure, which helps prevent ring flutter and improves ring seal for consistent power delivery. A skirt coating, also application-dependent, further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, contributing to quieter operation and longer life.
