JE Pistons 4.6 4V MOD STRKR 9.5:1 Set of 8 Pistons

Forged from 2618 aluminum, these JE Pistons are built for high-demand performance applications. This set is specifically designed for the 4.6L 4V MOD engine, featuring a 9.5:1 compression ratio and a 3.562-inch bore. JE Pistons brings over 75 years of experience to the table, with every piston engineered, forged, and machined in the USA to offer the best combination of durability and performance for racing and high-output street use.

The unique Proprieatary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design is a key feature, minimizing friction and power loss by reducing skirt width. This design also saves weight by using a shorter wrist pin. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to help reduce combustion gas pressure, which can prevent ring flutter and improve ring seal for more consistent power delivery. A skirt coating, also application-dependent, further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, contributing to quieter operation and longer life.

This set includes eight pistons, each with a 1.200-inch compression distance and a 0.866-inch pin diameter. They are designed for optimal performance and durability in their intended application. Please note that these pistons are not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California.
