JE Pistons 4.6 4V MOD STRKR 9.5:1 Set of 8 Pistons

This is a set of eight JE Pistons, specifically the 4.6 4V MOD STRKR model with a 9.5:1 compression ratio. These pistons are forged in the USA from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, making them well-suited for high-demand performance applications. They are designed to be a direct fit for specific engines and intended uses, aiming for optimized performance and durability.

JE Pistons brings over 75 years of experience to their forged racing pistons. These particular pistons feature a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design, which helps minimize friction and power loss by reducing skirt width and saving weight with a shorter wrist pin. Depending on the specific application, they may also include an accumulator groove to help reduce combustion gas pressure, which can prevent ring flutter and improve ring seal for more consistent power. Additionally, a skirt coating, if included for your application, can further reduce friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, while also helping to quiet down operating noise.
