These pistons feature an 11:1 compression ratio, making them suitable for naturally aspirated or forced induction applications where increased power is the goal. They are engineered and forged in the USA, using 2618 aluminum, a material known for its high tensile strength, which is crucial for engines pushed to their limits.

JE Pistons incorporates several design features to improve performance and durability. The proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design helps reduce friction and power loss by minimizing skirt width, and also saves weight with a shorter wrist pin. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to reduce combustion gas pressure, which helps prevent ring flutter and maintain a consistent ring seal for reliable power delivery.
