This set includes eight pistons designed to handle the demands of serious performance applications, featuring an 8.5:1 compression ratio. They are forged in the USA using 2618 aluminum, a material known for its high tensile strength, which is crucial for engines pushed to their limits.

JE Pistons brings over 75 years of experience to their forged piston designs. These pistons incorporate a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design, which helps minimize friction and power loss by reducing skirt width. This design also saves weight by using a shorter wrist pin. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also feature an accumulator groove to reduce combustion gas pressure, leading to better ring seal and consistent power. Some applications also include a skirt coating to further reduce friction and wear on the cylinder walls, which also helps quiet down engine noise.
