They engineer and forge their pistons right here in the USA, specifically for each engine and its intended use, aiming for the best mix of durability and performance. This set of eight pistons is built for the 4.6 4V Modular engine with a compression ratio of 8.5:1, making them a solid choice for builds looking for boosted performance or heavy-duty use.

These pistons use a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design. This means they have a reduced skirt width and a shorter wrist pin, which helps cut down on friction and power loss while also saving weight. Depending on the specific application, they might also include an accumulator groove to help manage combustion gas pressure, leading to better ring seal and more consistent power. Some applications also get a skirt coating that further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, which can also quiet down engine noise. They are forged from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, which is exactly what you need when you're pushing an engine hard.

This set includes eight pistons, each with a 3.622-inch bore and designed for a 0.866-inch wrist pin. Please note that these pistons are not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California. They are designed for specific engine and use applications to provide optimized performance and durability.
