JE Pistons 400-12 SBC .150 DOME Set of 8 Pistons

This is a set of eight JE Pistons designed for SBC (Small Block Chevrolet) engines. You get the pistons themselves, ready to be installed in your build. These pistons feature a .150 inch dome, which is important for setting your compression ratio, and they're made from 2618 aluminum, a strong material chosen for high-demand performance applications.

JE Pistons has been making forged racing pistons for over 75 years, and these are forged and machined 100% in the USA. They use a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design that helps minimize friction and power loss by reducing skirt width, and they also use a shorter wrist pin to save weight. Depending on the specific application, these pistons might also include an accumulator groove to help reduce combustion gas pressure, which can improve ring seal and keep power consistent. Some applications also get a skirt coating that reduces friction and noise while also cutting down on wear.
