If you're building a high-performance Small Block Chevy (SBC) engine, JE Pistons offers a well-built set of flat-top pistons designed for demanding applications. These pistons are forged in the USA from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, which is crucial for engines that see a lot of stress and high RPMs. They are specifically designed for the SBC engine to give you the best combination of durability and performance you can get from a forged piston.

JE Pistons brings over 75 years of experience to the table with these components. They feature a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design, which helps reduce friction and power loss by using a narrower skirt. This design also saves weight by allowing for a shorter wrist pin. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to help manage combustion gas pressure, improving ring seal and keeping power consistent. Some applications also benefit from a skirt coating that further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, which can also lead to quieter operation.

This set includes eight pistons, each with a 4.145-inch bore and a flat-top design with a -6.00cc dish. The wrist pin diameter is 0.927 inches. It's important to note that these pistons are not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California.
