Forged from 2618 aluminum, these JE Pistons are built for serious performance. They're designed specifically for SBC (Small Block Chevrolet) engines with a 4.165-inch bore, offering a flat-top design that's ideal for many high-compression builds. JE Pistons brings over 75 years of experience to the table, engineering and machining these pistons entirely in the USA to ensure you get a durable and high-performing component for your engine.

What sets these pistons apart is their proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design. This advanced forging minimizes friction and power loss by using a reduced skirt width and a shorter wrist pin, which also helps save weight. Depending on the specific application, you might also find an accumulator groove, which helps manage combustion gas pressure to reduce ring flutter and improve ring seal for consistent power delivery. Some applications also feature a skirt coating that further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, leading to quieter operation and longer life.
