Forged in the USA from 2618 aluminum, these JE Pistons are built to handle the demands of a high-performance 400 SBC engine. The 2618 alloy offers the high tensile strength necessary for applications where durability and consistent power are critical. This set includes eight pistons, each featuring a .165-inch dome to help achieve your desired compression ratio.

JE Pistons incorporates several design features to maximize performance and longevity. The proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design uses a reduced skirt width to minimize friction and power loss, while also saving weight. Depending on the specific application, an accumulator groove can be included to help manage combustion gas pressure, reducing ring flutter and improving ring seal for more consistent power delivery. Some applications also feature a skirt coating that further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, contributing to quieter operation.

These pistons are engineered and machined 100% in the USA, specifically for the 400 SBC engine and its intended use, ensuring optimized performance and durability.
