JE Pistons 400 SBC .305 DOME Set of 8 Pistons

If you're rebuilding a high-performance 400 SBC engine, a solid set of pistons is where you start. These JE Pistons are built for demanding applications where durability and consistent power are key. They're designed to handle the stress of racing and high-output street use, ensuring your engine performs reliably when you need it most.

JE Pistons uses a proprietary forged side relief (FSR) design, which helps reduce friction and power loss by using a narrower skirt. This also saves weight, especially when paired with the shorter wrist pin. The pistons are forged in the USA from 2618 aluminum, a material known for its high tensile strength, making them well-suited for the rigors of performance engines. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also feature an accumulator groove to help reduce combustion gas pressure and improve ring seal, and a skirt coating to cut down on friction, wear, and noise.

This set includes eight pistons, each with a .305 dome volume and a 4.155-inch bore, designed to work with a 0.927-inch pin. It's important to note that these pistons are not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California. For a complete build, ensure you have all the necessary supporting components like rings, rods, and a crankshaft that match these specifications.
