You'll find a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design, which helps cut down on friction and power loss by using a reduced skirt width and a shorter wrist pin, saving weight in the process. Depending on the specific application, you might also get an accumulator groove, which helps manage combustion gas pressure to prevent ring flutter and keep your rings sealed tight for consistent power delivery.
