This particular set features a dome design with a -12cc volume, intended to work with specific cylinder head combinations to achieve a desired compression ratio. They have a 4.165-inch bore and come with a 0.927-inch pin. JE Pistons incorporates their proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design, which helps reduce friction and skirt wear by minimizing skirt width and using a shorter wrist pin, contributing to both durability and weight savings. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to help reduce combustion gas pressure and improve ring seal, along with a skirt coating to further reduce friction, wear, and noise.
