JE Pistons 400 SBC DOME 18DEG Set of 8 Pistons

This is a set of eight JE Pistons, specifically designed for a 400 SBC engine with an 18-degree cylinder head configuration. You'll receive the pistons themselves, ready for installation into your build. These pistons are forged in the USA from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, which is crucial for engines pushed to their limits in racing or high-performance applications.

JE Pistons has incorporated their proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design. This means the pistons have a reduced skirt width and a shorter wrist pin, which helps minimize friction and power loss while also saving weight. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also feature an accumulator groove to help manage combustion gas pressure, reducing ring flutter and improving ring seal for more consistent power delivery.
