If you're building a high-performance Small Block Chevrolet engine, JE Pistons offers a set of forged pistons designed to handle serious power. This set is for a 4.130 inch bore with a 1.250 inch compression distance and uses a 0.927 inch pin. These pistons are built for demanding applications where durability and consistent performance are critical.

JE Pistons has been making forged pistons for over 75 years, and these are forged and machined entirely in the USA from 2618 aluminum. This material provides the high tensile strength needed for engines pushed to their limits, whether on the dirt track or the drag strip. They feature a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design that helps reduce friction and weight by using a narrower skirt and a shorter wrist pin. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to help manage combustion gas pressure, improving ring seal and preventing flutter. Some applications also benefit from a skirt coating that further reduces friction and wear on the cylinder walls, leading to quieter operation and longer life.

This set includes eight pistons, all designed specifically for the Small Block Chevrolet engine and the intended use application to optimize both performance and durability.
