This is a set of eight JE Pistons, specifically designed for the 426 Hemi engine. You get the pistons themselves, ready to be installed in your build. These pistons are forged in the USA from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, which is crucial for engines pushed to their limits. They feature a dome design and are sized for a 4.290-inch bore, with a 1.955-inch compression distance and a 1.031-inch wrist pin. The compression ratio is listed at 10.25 to 1.

JE Pistons brings over 75 years of experience to their forged racing pistons, and this set is no exception. They incorporate a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design, which helps minimize friction and power loss by reducing skirt width and using a shorter wrist pin, saving weight in the process. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to help reduce combustion gas pressure, which can prevent ring flutter and improve ring seal for more consistent power delivery. Some applications also feature a skirt coating designed to reduce friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, while also helping to quiet down engine noise.
