JE Pistons 440 MOPAR DISH Set of 8 Pistons

Forged in the USA from 2618 aluminum, these JE Pistons are built to handle the demands of high-performance Mopar Big Block engines. This set is specifically designed for the 440 Mopar application, featuring a 4.350-inch bore and an inverted dome/dish design. The 2618 aluminum alloy provides the high tensile strength necessary for engines pushed to their limits, whether on the drag strip or in other high-demand racing scenarios.

JE Pistons incorporates advanced design features to maximize durability and performance. The proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design helps minimize friction and power loss by reducing skirt width, while also saving weight with a shorter wrist pin. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to reduce combustion gas pressure, preventing ring flutter and improving ring seal for consistent power delivery. A skirt coating, also application-dependent, further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, contributing to quieter operation and longer component life.
