JE Pistons 454 BBC .350 DOME Set of 8 Pistons

JE Pistons is known for its forged racing pistons, bringing over 75 years of experience to domestic engine applications. This set of eight pistons is specifically built for the 454 BBC engine, featuring a .350 dome to optimize compression for your build. Engineered, forged, and machined entirely in the USA, these pistons are crafted from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, which is crucial for engines pushed to their limits.

The design incorporates JE's proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging, which uses a reduced skirt width and a shorter wrist pin to minimize friction and power loss while also saving weight. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to help manage combustion gas pressure, reducing ring flutter and improving ring seal for more consistent power delivery. A skirt coating, also application-dependent, further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, contributing to quieter operation and longer component life. These pistons are designed for each specific engine and use application, ensuring optimized performance and durability.

This set includes eight pistons, each with a 4.560-inch bore, a 1.120-inch compression distance, and a 0.990-inch pin diameter. Please note that these pistons are not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California.
