JE Pistons 5.4 2V MODULAR 9.5:1 Set of 8 Pistons

Forged in the USA using 2618 aluminum, these JE Pistons are built for high-demand performance applications. This set is specifically designed for the 5.4L 2-Valve Modular engine, featuring a 9.5:1 compression ratio. The 2618 aluminum alloy provides the high tensile strength needed to withstand the rigors of performance builds, ensuring durability when you push your engine hard.

JE Pistons incorporates their proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design, which helps minimize friction and power loss by using a reduced skirt width. This design, along with a shorter wrist pin, also saves additional weight. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to reduce combustion gas pressure, preventing ring flutter and improving ring seal for consistent power delivery. A skirt coating, also application-dependent, further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, contributing to quieter operation.

This set includes eight pistons, each with a 3.572-inch bore and a -28.5cc inverted dome/dish, designed to achieve a 9.5:1 compression ratio. The included wrist pins measure 0.866 inches.
