These pistons are forged in the USA from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, which is crucial for high-demand performance applications. They feature a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design that helps minimize friction and power loss by using a reduced skirt width and a shorter wrist pin, which also saves weight. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to help manage combustion gas pressure, reducing ring flutter and improving ring seal for consistent power delivery. Some applications also benefit from a skirt coating that further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, while also helping to quiet down engine noise.

This set includes eight pistons, each with a 3.622-inch bore and designed for an 11:1 compression ratio, featuring an inverted dome/dish with a -10.1 cc volume.
