JE Pistons 5.4 3V MODULAR 8.5:1 Set of 8 Pistons

This is a set of eight JE Pistons designed for the 5.4 3V Modular engine, featuring an 8.5:1 compression ratio. These pistons are forged from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, making them well-suited for high-demand performance applications where durability is critical. Each piston is engineered specifically for the 5.4 3V engine to optimize both performance and longevity.

JE Pistons brings over 75 years of experience to their forged piston designs. This set includes their proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging, which helps minimize friction and power loss by reducing skirt width. The design also saves weight with a shorter wrist pin. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also feature an accumulator groove to help reduce combustion gas pressure, improving ring seal and preventing ring flutter. A skirt coating, also application-dependent, can further reduce friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, while also contributing to quieter operation.

All JE Pistons are forged and machined in the USA. This set is for a 3.701-inch bore with a 1.320-inch compression distance and includes 0.866-inch wrist pins. Please note that this piston set is not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California.
