Forged in the USA from 2618 aluminum, these JE Pistons are built for high-demand performance applications. This set is specifically designed for the 5.4L 4V Modular engine, featuring an 8.5:1 compression ratio. The 2618 aluminum alloy provides the high tensile strength needed to withstand the rigors of performance builds, ensuring durability where it matters most.

JE Pistons brings over 75 years of experience to their forged piston designs. This set includes their proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design, which helps minimize friction and power loss by reducing skirt width. This design also saves weight with a shorter wrist pin. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also feature an accumulator groove to help reduce combustion gas pressure, improving ring flutter and seal for consistent power. A skirt coating, if included for this application, further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, contributing to quieter operation.

This kit includes eight pistons, each with a 3.622-inch bore and a 1.320-inch compression distance. The dome/dish volume is -30.9cc, contributing to the 8.5:1 compression ratio.
