This set includes JE Pistons' proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design. This design helps minimize friction and power loss by using a reduced skirt width and a shorter wrist pin, which also saves weight. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also feature an accumulator groove to help reduce pressure from combustion gases, preventing ring flutter and improving ring seal for consistent power delivery.
