They are crafted from 2618 aluminum, a material known for its high tensile strength, making it well-suited for the demands of racing and high-output engines.

JE Pistons brings over 75 years of experience to their forged piston designs, and these are no exception. They utilize a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design, which helps minimize friction and power loss by reducing skirt width. This design also saves weight with a shorter wrist pin. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also feature an accumulator groove to reduce combustion gas pressure, which helps prevent ring flutter and improves ring seal for consistent power delivery.
