This piston is specifically made for the SR20VE/VET engine, featuring an 87.0mm bore size, which is 1.0mm oversize from stock. The -14.2cc inverted dome design helps achieve a 9.0:1 compression ratio, a popular choice for boosted applications where you want a good balance of power and reliability. JE Pistons also uses a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design to reduce friction and skirt wear, and some applications include a skirt coating to further cut down on friction and noise.
