These pistons are engineered and machined 100% in the USA using 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, which is essential for engines operating under high-demand performance conditions.

The design incorporates JE Pistons' proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging, which helps minimize friction and power loss by reducing skirt width and saving weight with a shorter wrist pin. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also feature an accumulator groove to reduce combustion gas pressure, preventing ring flutter and improving ring seal for consistent power delivery. A skirt coating, also application-dependent, further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, contributing to quieter operation.
