Forged from 2618 aluminum, these JE Pistons are built for high-demand performance applications. If you're rebuilding the engine in your 2006-2013 Chevrolet Corvette for serious use, these pistons offer a solid foundation. They're designed specifically for the K24/K20 engine to give you the best combination of durability and power.
JE Pistons uses a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design, which helps reduce friction and power loss by using a narrower skirt. This design also saves weight, especially when paired with the shorter wrist pin. Depending on your specific application, these pistons may also feature an accumulator groove to help manage combustion gas pressure, leading to better ring seal and consistent power. A skirt coating, if included for your application, further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, while also quieting down operation.
