This is a set of eight JE Pistons BBC pistons, designed for a 4.500 inch bore. You get the pistons themselves, ready for installation in your Big Block Chevrolet engine. These pistons are forged from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, which is crucial for engines built for high-demand performance applications. They are made 100% in the USA, reflecting JE Pistons' long history in forged racing components.

JE Pistons uses a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design. This design helps minimize friction and power loss by using a reduced skirt width and a shorter wrist pin, which also saves weight. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also feature an accumulator groove. This groove is designed to reduce pressure from combustion gases, which can help prevent ring flutter and improve ring seal for more consistent power delivery.
