This set of eight BBC pistons is engineered and forged right here in the USA, designed specifically for high-demand performance builds. They utilize a 2618 aluminum alloy, which offers the high tensile strength needed when you're pushing an engine hard.

These pistons feature a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design that helps minimize friction and power loss by reducing skirt width. This design also saves weight with a shorter wrist pin. Depending on the specific application, you might also find an accumulator groove, which helps reduce combustion gas pressure to improve ring flutter and maintain a consistent ring seal for reliable power. Some applications also include a skirt coating that further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, while also contributing to quieter operation.

This particular kit is for a 4.375 inch bore with a 1.270 inch compression distance and a 0.990 inch pin. It's important to note that these pistons are not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California.
