Forged from 2618 aluminum, these JE Pistons BBC pistons are built for serious performance applications where high tensile strength is critical. This set of eight is designed specifically for the demands of a big block Chevrolet engine, offering an optimized combination of durability and power output. They are engineered and machined entirely in the USA, reflecting JE Pistons' extensive experience in racing components.

A notable feature is the proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design. This design helps minimize friction and power loss by using a reduced skirt width, and it also saves weight thanks to a shorter wrist pin. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove, which helps manage combustion gas pressure to reduce ring flutter and improve ring seal for more consistent power delivery. Additionally, a skirt coating, if included for your application, further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, contributing to quieter operation.

This piston kit is designed for a 4.350-inch bore and includes pistons with a 43.0 cc dome volume, a 1.270-inch compression distance, and a 0.990-inch wrist pin.
