JE Pistons BBC .565 DOME Set of 8 Pistons

Forged in the USA from 2618 aluminum, this set of eight JE Pistons is built for high-demand performance applications. These pistons feature a .565 dome and are designed for a 4.280 inch bore. The 2618 aluminum alloy provides the high tensile strength needed to withstand the rigors of performance engines, ensuring durability when you push your BBC engine to its limits.

JE Pistons incorporates a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design. This design helps minimize friction and power loss by using a reduced skirt width, and it also saves weight with a shorter wrist pin. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to help reduce combustion gas pressure, which can prevent ring flutter and improve ring seal for more consistent power delivery. A skirt coating, also application-dependent, further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, contributing to quieter operation and longer life.
