JE Pistons BBC .565 DOME Set of 8 Pistons

JE Pistons is known for its forged racing pistons, bringing over 75 years of experience to domestic engine builds. This set of eight BBC pistons is engineered, forged, and machined entirely in the USA, using 2618 aluminum for the high tensile strength needed in performance applications. They are designed specifically for each engine and use case to offer the best balance of durability and performance, proven time and again in racing environments.

These pistons feature JE Pistons' proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design. This design helps minimize friction and power loss by using a reduced skirt width, and it saves additional weight with a shorter wrist pin. Depending on the specific application, an accumulator groove is included to help reduce pressure from combustion gases, which can lessen ring flutter and improve ring seal for more consistent power delivery. A skirt coating, also application-dependent, further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, while also contributing to quieter operation.

This kit includes eight pistons with a 4.320-inch bore, a 1.270-inch compression distance, and a 0.990-inch wrist pin. Please note that these pistons are not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California. They are designed for high-demand performance applications where durability and optimized power are critical.
