This set of eight JE Pistons is forged from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, making it well-suited for the demanding conditions of racing and performance applications. These pistons are designed specifically for BBC engines, ensuring they work with your existing setup.

JE Pistons brings over 75 years of experience to the table, and these pistons are forged and machined entirely in the USA. They feature a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design, which helps reduce friction and power loss by using a narrower skirt and a shorter wrist pin, also saving weight. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to help manage combustion gas pressure, leading to better ring seal and more consistent power. Some applications also feature a skirt coating that further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, while also helping to quiet down engine noise.

This set is designed for a 4.560 inch bore and features a .600 inch dome. Remember that these pistons are not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California.
