Forged from 2618 aluminum, these JE Pistons are built for high-demand performance applications, offering the tensile strength needed for serious engine builds. This set is specifically designed for BBC (Big Block Chevrolet) engines, featuring a .625 dome to optimize combustion chamber volume and compression ratios for your specific build. Each piston is engineered and machined 100% in the USA, drawing on JE Pistons' extensive experience in racing to deliver a combination of durability and performance.

JE Pistons incorporates advanced design features to maximize efficiency and longevity. The proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design helps minimize friction and power loss by reducing skirt width, while also saving weight with a shorter wrist pin. Depending on the specific application, an accumulator groove can be included to help reduce pressure from combustion gases, which in turn reduces ring flutter and improves ring seal for consistent power delivery. Additionally, a skirt coating, if included for your application, further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, contributing to quieter operation.

This set includes eight pistons, each with a 4.310-inch bore, a 1.245-inch compression distance, and a 0.990-inch wrist pin. The dome volume is 46.0 cc. It's important to note that these pistons are not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California.
