JE Pistons BBC .675 DOME Set of 8 Pistons

If you're building a high-performance Big Block Chevrolet (BBC) engine, these JE Pistons are a solid choice. This set includes eight pistons, each forged from 2618 aluminum right here in the USA. This material is chosen for its high tensile strength, which is crucial for handling the demands of performance engines.

JE Pistons has been around for over 75 years, and they've put that experience into designing these pistons specifically for BBC engines. They feature a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design, which helps reduce friction and power loss by using a narrower skirt and a shorter wrist pin. Depending on the specific application, you might also find an accumulator groove, which helps manage combustion gas pressure to keep the piston rings sealed consistently. Some applications also include a skirt coating that further reduces friction and wear, while also quieting down the engine's operation.

This set is designed for a 4.280-inch bore and includes pistons with a .675-inch dome volume, a 1.645-inch compression distance, and a 0.990-inch wrist pin.
