This listing is for a single JE Pistons BBC .675 Dome piston, part number 258260S. It's designed for a 4.375 inch bore with a 1.395 inch compression distance and a 0.990 inch wrist pin. This piston is forged in the USA from 2618 aluminum, which gives it the high tensile strength needed for demanding performance applications.

JE Pistons has been making forged pistons for over 75 years, and this one is engineered specifically for its intended engine and use. It features a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design that helps minimize friction and power loss by using a reduced skirt width. Some applications also include a skirt coating to further reduce friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, which also helps quiet down operation. An accumulator groove may also be present to help manage combustion gas pressure, improving ring seal and maintaining consistent power.
