Forged from 2618 aluminum, these JE Pistons BBC BIG DUKE/CHIEF pistons are built for serious performance applications. JE Pistons brings over 75 years of experience to the table, crafting these pistons entirely in the USA to meet the demands of racing and high-output engines. They are specifically designed for Big Block Chevrolet engines, ensuring an optimized combination of durability and performance.

The BIG DUKE/CHIEF series features JE's proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design. This design reduces skirt width and uses a shorter wrist pin, which not only saves weight but also minimizes friction and power loss. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to help manage combustion gas pressure, leading to better ring seal and more consistent power delivery. A skirt coating, also application-dependent, further reduces friction and wear on the cylinder walls, contributing to a quieter operation and longer piston life.

This set includes eight pistons, each with a 4.600-inch bore, a 1.060-inch compression distance, and a 0.990-inch wrist pin. They are designed with a dome top, which is crucial for achieving specific compression ratios in performance builds.
