JE Pistons BBC BIG DUKE/CHIEF Set of 8 Pistons

This is a set of 8 JE Pistons BBC BIG DUKE/CHIEF pistons, designed for Chevrolet Big Block engines. You get the pistons themselves, ready to be installed in your performance build. These pistons are forged in the USA from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, which is crucial for engines pushed to their limits. They feature a dome top and are designed for a 4.610 inch bore with a 1.060 inch compression distance and a 0.990 inch wrist pin.

JE Pistons brings over 75 years of experience to these forged pistons, focusing on durability and performance for racing applications. They utilize a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design, which helps minimize friction and power loss by reducing skirt width and saving weight with a shorter wrist pin. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to help reduce combustion gas pressure, improving ring seal and maintaining consistent power. Some applications also feature a skirt coating designed to reduce friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, which can also lead to quieter operation.

These pistons are engineered and machined 100% in the USA, specifically for each engine and use application to offer optimized performance and durability.
