Forged in the USA from 2618 aluminum, these JE Pistons BBC BLWN ALKY DOME pistons are built for high-demand performance applications. They are designed specifically for each engine and use case, offering an optimized combination of durability and performance. The proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design is a key feature, minimizing friction and power loss by reducing skirt width. This design also saves weight with a shorter wrist pin, contributing to overall engine efficiency.

JE Pistons has over 75 years of experience in forged racing pistons, and this set reflects that expertise. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may include an accumulator groove to help reduce combustion gas pressure, which can prevent ring flutter and improve ring seal for more consistent power delivery. A skirt coating, also application-dependent, further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, while also helping to quiet down operating noise.
