Forged from 2618 aluminum, these JE Pistons are built for high-demand performance applications. This set is designed for Big Block Chevrolet engines with a closed chamber cylinder head configuration, featuring a 4.155-inch bore. JE Pistons brings over 75 years of experience to the table, engineering and machining these pistons entirely in the USA to ensure a combination of durability and performance that's proven on the track.

The proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design is a key feature, minimizing friction and power loss by using a reduced skirt width. This design also saves weight by incorporating a shorter wrist pin. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to help manage combustion gas pressure, which can reduce ring flutter and improve ring seal for more consistent power delivery. Additionally, a skirt coating, if included for your application, further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, contributing to quieter operation.
