This set of eight pistons is forged from 2618 aluminum, a material known for its high tensile strength, making it well-suited for the demands of racing and performance applications. They're designed with a closed chamber dome to optimize combustion in specific BBC engine configurations.

JE Pistons has been making performance pistons for over 75 years, and these are made 100% in the USA. They feature a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design that helps reduce friction and power loss by using a narrower skirt and a shorter wrist pin, which also saves weight. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to help manage combustion gas pressure, improving ring seal and maintaining consistent power.
