JE Pistons BBC FT HD/BLOWN Set of 8 Pistons

Forged in the USA using 2618 aluminum, these JE Pistons BBC FT HD/BLOWN pistons are built for high-demand performance applications. This set includes eight pistons, each featuring a flat top design with a 4.560-inch bore. The 2618 aluminum alloy provides the high tensile strength needed to withstand the rigors of high-performance engines, whether you're on the dirt track or the drag strip.

JE Pistons incorporates a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design, which helps minimize friction and power loss by using a reduced skirt width. This design also contributes to weight savings, especially when paired with a shorter wrist pin. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also feature an accumulator groove to help reduce combustion gas pressure, which can prevent ring flutter and improve ring seal for more consistent power delivery. Additionally, a skirt coating, if included for your application, further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, leading to quieter operation and longer component life.
